ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Write requirements, test and document Business Applications built on client's core products.
Learn healthcare domain and apply that knowledge to develop solutions catering to healthcare industry.
Learn HIPAA transactions sets (837, 277, 835, 999, etc).
Learn Medicare/Medicaid encounter file submissions requirements.
Receive training and learn new technologies.
Work independently or with the team in Translating business requirements / functional specifications into detailed Technical Design
Maintain and support releases and pre-release Business Applications.
Ensure quality of completed products by being involved from inception through release phases of the development lifecycle.
REQUIRED SKILL SET:

Knowledge and experience with at least one database platform (SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2).
Moderate to advanced SQL query skills.
Strong problem analysis, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to document business logic in form of flow charts and / or pseudo code.
Good understanding of enterprise application architecture and ability to quickly grasp new technologies.
Edifecs product knowledge & Healthcare domain knowledge will be a strong plus.
Interest and ability to learn healthcare domain and its processes.
Knowledge and experience with HIPAA transactions sets (837, 277, etc) a strong plus.
Ability to work within a team or independently on major problem solving efforts
